Originateve Holistic Learning Designs is organized to develop instructors into intentional Mentors of multi-age, multi-disciplined, and poly-methodological approaches to human development. We seek to eliminate disposable mindsets and move beyond scant goals of sustainability in order to root practices of regeneration.
How do we educate in a world that changes faster than any scripted and specialized curriculum can keep up? Holistic education attempts to cross-connect all disciplines with hands-on, cognitively demanding, socially positive learning experiences that help foster whole human development. Using emergent curricular techniques, mentors are trained to build relationships first in order to assist with academic goals. Holistic education approaches do not choose one methodology and reject another. Rather, they seek to establish multiple entry points for learning in order to provide as much opportunity as possible for the learner to autonomously engage.
